Welcome to the 2026 Spring Season!
We appreciate you volunteering and will need your help in order to assure safe play and assist in the administration of the team. We look forward to having you on the team.
As a parent or volunteer you will be helping by assisting at practice, keeping time at games, acting as the team parent and assist in tracking rotations. Also please help us set a good example and be role models, we don’t want to emphasize winning, we want to stress having fun and learning good sportsmanship.
Volunteers will need to go through a background check, and will need a valid state issued identification.

TACKLE football registration is now open take advantage of the early registration and payment plan. Link will be available at the beginning of March.
DIVISIONS are based on child's age on 7/31/2026.
PeeWee Flag 4 - 6 years old
Rookie FLAG 7 - 8 years old
Junior FLAG 9 - 10 years old
Senior FLAG 11- 12 years old
Cheerleading - 4-13 years old
First Practice DAY for all participants will be held on TUESDAY, February 16th, 2026 at Del Valle High School football practice field starting at 5 :30pm.
(Location: 5201 Ross Rd, Del Valle TX 78617. Practice field located behind the high school).
Please have your PLAYERS and CHEERLEADERS arrive in athletic wear, (football cleats, FOR CHEER SHOES), water, and a great attitude!
Practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday every week during the Spring Season from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Days Will Change due to District Events.
Once teams are formed and rosters are set your Head Coach will communicate using the Team GroupMe app where all practice, game information and changes will be posted.
All games will be played on Saturday's, unless rained out and will be make up games.

Parents! Once your player is registered with Del Valle Mighty Cardinals Youth Sports please make sure to have your documents ready for online upload (PDF format) to register your player with DVMC for certification. This link will be communicated to you once it is live. For more information the parent league info can be found at www.ctyfl.org

All players must be certified before the start of opening games.

Every player will need a valid physical (must carry through the end of the fall season). Reminder that physicals are only valid ONE year from when physical was assessed.

They will also need a valid state issued birth certificate.
